The Achievement By The India After Independence 



India gained independence on 15 August 1947 after nearly 200 years of British rule and established sovereignty. Achieving this freedom was not easy for the freedom fighters. There are many heroic martyrs and sacrifices of the leadership for the freedom movement. As a result, today we can celebrate the 76th Independence Day as "Ajadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav".  


Some Achievement gain by India after Independence:


The significant and profound achievement of an independent India is its constitution and its unlimited potential for India as a democracy.


> A constitution is needed to run a country peacefully and sovereignty.  After about 2 years, 11 months, 18 days, and 11 sessions, on 26 January 1950, we as citizens of India enforced it on ourselves.


> The design of the National Flag was adopted by the Constitution Assembly on July 22, 1947. The National Emblem was adopted on January 26, 1947. This symbol is also known as the Ashoka Pillar. It has four lions on a circular abacus and four animals are shown representing four directions - a galloping horse in the West, a bull in the East, an elephant in the South, a lion in the North, and the words "Satyamev Jayate" from "Mundaka Upanishad" is inscribed below the abacus in "Devanagari" script.


> The national anthem "Jana Gana Mana" composed by Rabindranath Tagore and the National Song "Vande Mataram" composed by Bankimchandra Chetarji in Sanskrit was adopted on 24 January 1950.


> The National Calendar is the Saka Era adopted from March 22, 1957.


> India achieved a breakthrough in space and technology Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) the national space organization of India was founded by Vikram Sarabhai on 15 August 1969 where India was able to gain more knowledge about space.


> On April 19, 1975, India launched "Aryabhatta", its first space satellite. 


> In 2008, India set a world record by launching 10 satellites into orbit with pull-c9. Again on February 16, 2017, India created history by successfully launching 104 satellites in a single mission with PSLV-C37 in a sun-synchronous orbit.


> India has achieved success in the development of Supercomputers. PARAM 8000 is the first supercomputer developed in 1990. PARAM 8600 (1992), PARAM 9000(1994), PARAM 10000(1998), PARAM Padma(2002), PARAM Yuva(2008), Param Yuva II(2013), PARAM ISHAN(2016), PARAM Brahma(2020), PARAM Siddhi-AI(2020), PARAM Pravega(2022).


> Chandrayaan-1 is India's first unmanned space mission to the Moon and it was through this that ISRO discovered water on the Moon.


> In 2013, India achieved a breakthrough in its Mars mission with PSLV-XL C25, and became the first Asian country to reach Mars orbit on its first attempt.


> In 2018 India developed an Atomic Clock used for navigation satellites. 


> India is the second largest food producer in the world. Pulses and jute rank as the second largest producer of rice, wheat, sugarcane, groundnut, vegetables, fruit, and cotton.


> In 2022 India ranks 15th in food exports in the world.


>Rice is the largest exported agricultural product from India.


> India is the world's largest milk producer.

 

> India is also one of the leading producers of spices, fish, poultry, livestock, and plantation crops.


> India manufactures nuclear reactors. APSARA is the first research reactor in the Asia Trombay campus of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in August 1956.


> The first Asian games were held in 1951 in New Delhi and India won gold in Football.


The flying Jatt Milkha Singh won gold at the 1958 Cardiff Commonwealth Games.


> In 1983 and 2011 the Indian cricket team had two times World Champions In the Cricket World Cup.


> Legendary Indian chess player Viswanathan Anand became the first player to win the World Chess Championship from the India in 2000.


> In 2020 Tokyo Olympic games Neeraj Chopra won the Gold Medal.


> India sits at the sixth position of the topmost growing economies of the world with a real GDP of $2.66 trillion.


> India is the world's fifth-largest energy economy. According to the Renewable Energy Country Attraction Index (RECAI), India retain the ranked 3rd position in renewable energy behind USA and China.


> Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) established its headquarters in Bangalore on 23 December 1940 and manufactures aircraft. HAL Kiran (HJT-16), HAL Rudra, HAL LCH, and HAL Dhruv these aircraft are made in India.


> India is a manufacturer of nuclear submarines. The Arihant-class is a class of Indian nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines being built for the Indian Navy. INS Chakra is the first Nuclear Submarine in India.


> India eradicated polio and smallpox. Again in the COVID-19 situation, India built an indigenous vaccine named "COVAXIN" by the Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).


> Indian Railway transport organization is the 4th largest railway network in the world.


The above data shows that India has achieved a lot in these 75 years since independence. I have presented only part of it in this article. I hope India develops further without doing anyone wrong.
