Life Lesson is an inspirational short story.

Arunav was sitting in the shade of a huge tree by the pond. He is overwhelmed by various thoughts. So he wants to sit openly under the tree and spend some time in the alon.

He is disappointed in the loss of his business. So he is sitting by the pond looking for a little peace.

Due to COVID-19 and lockdown brought his business down completely. He has not been able to pay the salaries of his employees. 

What to do?  

How to do it?

Will it be the same again?  

He is thinking about it. 

Sometimes he has bad thoughts like suicide.

There is a slow breeze that forces him to look at the water in the pond.

The water in the pond is rippling in the wind. Once the water wave rises, it falls again. The waves are formed on one side of the pond and eventually, the waves hit the shore on the other side of the pond.

While watching the water, he noticed an insect lying in the waves and searching for the shore. He notices that the insect goes up and down with the waves of water and finally reaches the shore of the pond. But he is not able to climb the shore. Because as soon as the insect starts to climb the bank of the pond, the waves of water throw it down. 

The insect does not give up. He tries to climb ashore again. But the waves of water hit the insect and threw it back into the water. However, he does not give up and continues to play with the waves and try to climb to the shore.

Some time passed like this.  

The insect got good results from the effortless and diligent work. He got rid of the hard life in the waves of water. After eight attempts, the insect managed to climb to the shore of the pond.

This scene gave Arunav a new thought. He thought to himself that human life is up and down with sorrow and happiness, good and bad times like the water waves of the pond. This is a sad and bad time for me. But it is likely to turn into happiness and good times. So I would not have to give up. I would not have to back down. I have to set a goal like that insect and work hard until I reach it.

Arunav thanks God for giving him valuable life lessons. He forgot the old things and he goes on to start the business from scratch with happiness in mind and double the enthusiasm and excitement.

This shows that we should not lose our faith and patience until we reach our goal.  Which is what the fly has taught us.
