A Short Story

A Short Story------

I was sitting at the nearby window table reading a book. Then a sparrow entered the room and flew out of the window again. It fell on the hibiscus flower tree next to the window and flew away again. I was excited to see what the bird was doing. But after the bird flew away, I was busy reading the book again.

Some time passed--- 

This time the bird brought a friend. They are both lying on the hibiscus flower tree, jumping from one branch to another and observing something. After a while, they both fly away.

This time they come back and fall on the branch of the hibiscus tree. I noticed that they were carrying straw sticks on their beaks and pulling two leaf from the tree and putting them on top of each other and tailing them. Once he pushes the stick out through the leaf with his beak, he pulls the stick back in through the leaf with the other side. They ran out of sticks while tailing. They both flew again. After a while they came back with two sticks on their beaks.  And they started their work again. They pulled the leaves one by one from the branches of the tree and tailed them with sticks.

After about an hour of struggling, their nest was complete. After they built their nest, they flew back somewhere. I wanted to take a closer look at the nest they built. So I got out of the room and ran toward the tree. I went to the nest and observed that there was a hole through which they could enter and leave the nest. There is no other hole. And I see that they are tailing the leaves with the stick with their beaks just like we sew clothes with a sewing machine. Once I touched it with my hand and pulled it gently, I could feel that the nest was very strong. They have built a porch with leaves in the structure so that it does not enter the nest when it rains.

Really God created every living thing in this world with its own qualities. The two birds have the qualities of an engineer without any education or experience which is a talent they are born with. They are really engineers of nature.
