Moni-Kanchan
A Story
A river. Two villages on both sides of the river. It is bordered by Gauripur village to the north and Rangpur village to the south Kanchan is the daughter of the principal of Gauripur village high school and Moni is the son of the village headman of Rangpur village. There is a good relationship between the two villages. Only the communication between the two villages is very poor. There are no other means of communication from one village to another except by boat.
Moni and Kanchan have known each other since they were in college. They have been out of college for about five years now. They are both busy with their lives. Therefore, the relationship between them is deteriorating.
But no one can erase the relationship that God has written. They were able to revive their relationship like a river merges into the sea.
At the banks of the river.
Moni and his three friends were having a picnic on the river bank that day. And then Kanchan and her friend from Gauripur village arrive on the other side of the river.
: Hey friends, look at that side.... Moni's friend Rahul pointed to the girls. Immediately the other friends looked at them.
Moni saw Kanchan and he remembered the old days of college. He had loved Kanchan since he was in college. But he didn't dare to say it at the time. Today, seeing her, he feels like a new opportunity for him to tell her what he has been feeling for so long.
Moni raised his hands and started shouting at Kanchan. But he got no results Because the sound of the river flowing made his voice very low.
There was no boat at that time. There was a bridge but it was half built. This made him disappointed.
That time has passed. Finally, Kanchan went home with her friends.
He lost Kanchan again, whom he had met after about five years.
He sat down on the huge rock next to him in despair and frustration.
: Come on... don't be so disappointed. She came today so she could come back again tomorrow. Deep put his hand on Rahul's back and tried to comfort him.
: Let's go home now. We'll be back tomorrow. --- Rahul said.
They went home.
